    Default Hyco Today


    Today's weather was a gift considering the recent hot week. NE breeze kept things cool and I don't think the temps got out of the 70's while I was out. Anyway found some fat good size fish on structure in about 15' fwo. The heavy cloud cover allowed the big eyed crappie to feed up shallow in the clear water. They were about 3-5 foot deep and wanted minnows with the BG shad. Boat traffic got to be unbearable so I gave the lake to them and went home. Very nice day on the water. FB

    I was at Hyco bass fishing the middle of May. What a time we had. Didn't fish for crappie though. But the bass were hitting!! Hyco still remains the prettiest lake for me. Glad you had a good time.
