I run a 12v green LED submersible on my accessory battery, then run 4 white(120v/26w) and 4 green(120v/14w) CFLs on my older 850watt Yamaha generator. Its not as quite as an inverter generator, but I've still been able to here a drag go off. The benefit I find from the generator is that I can connect my onboard charger and replenish my 12v batteries. I've been told the constant sound and vibration doesn't affect the fish as negatively as jumping around the boat or making a sudden thud while grabbing for a rod. The sound and vibration never has seemed to change the bite. I've drawn unreal numbers of bait fish, large and small. Even if you move, they'll come with you like a little puppy lol. I place the generator in the bow, run 1 10ft drop cord with a splitter down each side of my Tracker. Never had an issue with them getting in the way. Down side is you not being able to leave it running if a rain shower hits you. Considering the generator has an overcurrent breaker though will trip it out first before it would electrocute you in the chance a light hit the water. I'll have to post a few pictures from my phone. Slabsuttle has a good setup with an inverter and 120v LED lights too.
