    Default Hickory 5/10

Went lookin for some new docks to fish and wound up finding empty docks to dodge the rain showers!!! Did manage to find some with fish in them tho! It seemed they were gonna bite pretty good till the showers showed up, then they developed lockjaw. I went to my go to spots and nothing was happening, so started the search again and it payed off. I changed tatics also, shootin and then dead line jigging at the end of the dock in 20' water, and there they were!! The fish had moved out to deep water and were holding on the bottom. Water temps ranged from 68-72 from early am to late afternoon. All were caught on jigs blue/silver and blue/green in deep water. Average size was 11 inches and brought home 12 for the sake of a crappie dinner. Gonna try to go nite stalkin soon since I see now that they are in deep water and the lake is getting busy thru the daytime. Till next time, wish tight lines and ya get into em r biguns
Difference between day and night: Day= one rod, one jig/Night= Many rods & a bucket full of minners
