Size: 99.6 KBI've been nothing more than a lurker here for 2 years, learning and enjoying. Thanks for all the great info! I finally registered, because I never had anything worth sharing. Last night I took the girlfriend to harris for her 1st night crappie fishing trip, only her 2nd ever crappie trip. Not many keepers, but she caught what is possibly the biggest crappie I've ever seen from there.

Great report! Did you get any measurements or weights?

Just get him on, then we'll worry about getting him in!

At least someone has found a few eaters. We caught mostly dinks thru the winter with a few eaters but not many. How was the boat traffic?

Didn't measure em, but the smallest was right at 10", swallowed the hook. Caught a few nice bullheads, couple pounders, but she said they were too cute, so I had to throw em back. It was mother's day, after all.

Boat traffic was super light, but we didn't get out til midnight. Bass boats started getting heavy around 7am. Jet skis and ski boats real heavy close to noon. We watched a guy in a kayak catch a 5-6 lb largemouth about 50' from us. That was a real treat, especially hearing how excited he was, hooting and hollering.

All in all, a great trip. I had fun, momma had a great mother's day.

Now all I need is some of you pros to teach me how to do everytime.
