Ron and I fished Randleman the first two years it opened. The fishing went down hill fast as far as crappie were concerned. What were the sizes of the fish you caught? Were there any over ten inches? Ron wants to go back but I'm not a believer. I live within ten miles of Badin and Tillery. Hard to give up the quality of fish I see in these two lakes. Randleman is a beautiful lake but I can't justify the fishing from our past experience. Thanks for the post.
I only fish the two best days of the year, when its raining and when its not!

Most of the fish I caught were in the 10 in range.a few were send 8in but most at least 10.In the past all I've caught were 6 to 8 in glad there finally growing up or enough people are taking the small ones home since there isn't a size or limit there.Big thing for me is randleman is only bought 10min from my house. My mom has a house at tiller and fished it all my life but hate the drive. Then her and her husband has a place at high rock also fish there most of the time if im not on randleman alot closer than t illery.

If you know where to go the fishing is very good. I live right down the road so it's a no brainer for me. I've fished Jordan the last 3 wks and caught 7 very nice fish, 1 just over 3lbs and 2 just over 2lbs 0n 4-1 but since the keepers in the area I've been fishing are few and far between which to me says the biggest have come and gone. I guess it's time to go back to my home lake and see what the spring has to offer. If it's as much improvement as the fall was over the spring I can't hardly wait to get there. But on the other hand if had great fishing I would stay there . As a matter of fact I don't know much about Tillery, I've been there a few times but never done very good at all. I guess It's just knowing where to go.One place you may try there , go up to the 62 bridge and go left before you get there and go to the other bridge and go under.Thats a big cove and it's stumpy and not very deep, It should be a great place this time of year. Jordan Tillery, Randleman ? I'm taking Randleman. 12 min drive vs 1.5 hour the other 2 that's a lot of exploring and fishing tine. Good Luck Where Ever You Choose To Fish. Billy Niten

Hoping to head out there on Wednesday and look for some. Also hoping to find some shad to catch to take up to the Roanoke for stripers. Y'all see any schooling?
