Last I heard it was a clay hole. May find some clean water on the lower end

Flat Swamp Creek is very fishable but the rest of the lake is a disaster. Some floating debris in Flat Swamp but not too bad.

Water temps ranged from the low to mid 50's. Mostly around 55 or so.

Thanks for the info. I was wondering about the conditions too. Hope things clear up next week.

I went to High Rock for a few mins this morning to play with my new depth finder. The lake is stained. It's not nasty muddy but definately got color. Pretty much all I saw was stained. Water temps in upper 40s.

The water temps I gave were in Flat Swamp. I did not go out of this creek. We caught several nice crappie about 12-18 feet deep in 20-25 feet of water. Long lining was the ticket.
