My new slogan- Think PINK. That was the best color I could find yesterday on Jordan Lake.
I had to got get some skin cancer lasered in the morning and when I got home, I felt like killing someone, that hurt! I suggested to my bride that for her health and my sanity and freedom, I should go fishing. Please go was all she said.
So I got to Jordan about 1 and fished until 5:30. I only managed to get 12 keepers and nothing over 12". And since I lost all my brown and chartreuse jigs in the power outage, I had to use pink. Caught a bunch of 9" fish and had millions of short hits, but the bigger fish were farther up the lake.
No visit from the eagle today and only about 6-8 boats on the lake. I think it's about time to try Robeson Creek. Water temp on the main lake was 41-42.
Had fun and didn't kill anyone.

The brown and chartruce has not been working on Falls Lake for some reason

They're only native to Jordan. Try a different minnow.

Thanks for the chuckle. Pink has alway been a good color to start with. If they are not hitting pink I'll switch to chartreuse/white.
