    Default Moss 12/23

Headed out to Moss Lake today after the rain slacked off and got a second, bigger trolling motor battery wired in to extend my trolling time. Got on the water about 11:30. W/T was 49-50. Spent about 15 minutes making passes over deep water to find the fish. Marked the fish and set out my lines. Fishing was still slow, only caught 7, ranging from 9 1/2-13 inches. Caught in 65-68 feet of water with the fish sitting 20-35 feet down. It was a better day than its been so I can't complain.

Nice going Matt. Where in the world did you find room for another battery?

Put it up front. Its a 4D battery so I get a lot of trolling time, been having to fight the wind lately a lot and draining the other. Ran 7-8 hours on about 25% of this battery today. I was surprised I found the fish in that deep of water, could be where they've been all along and I just never looked there.

I apparently can't count. The total count was 8, not 7.

Good looking fish! Those Moss crappie are some of the best tasting crappies I know of.
