I need an external antenae anyway to connect the DSC feature on VHF radio to a chartplotter.
Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

I have a HB 788 ci HD on the TM, like it fine so far (about 2 months) and just put a HDS 8 on the console, been out 1 time with it. Either one will do good for you.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
