Thread: is it worth it?

you will love a Ranger, I had one from 86 un until 09. Great boat and was foolish for selling it

I have a 1998 Ranger R61 with a 1999 90 hp Johnson. It is really a great boat. The only problem is that back then gas mileages was pretty poor. But then I can sure buy a lot of gas for what it would cost to upgrade to a newer motor that gets better mileage. I kdon't think you will regret having a Ranger boat. I bought the boat used and after a couple times using it I discoverd that there was a problem with the trailer. Boat would move on the trailer after loading and going down the road. Trailer was out of warranty but Ranger took it back to the factory and reworked the trailer and now the boat sets on the trailer and does not move. The best part is that it did not cost me anything.
