Best float/bobber for night fishing?
With the multitude of floats available today, which ones do you like best for night fishing? The fishing department of most stores seem to have tons of styles, shapes, colors and none of the articles I have on crappie fishing go into any detail about favorites. Whats yours and why?

by far the wing-it floats. make sure you use the yellow/chartreuse color for night fishing (easier to see)

I have used several of the night floats. The Night Bobbys are too cumbersome for me. Thill makes some Balsa floats with a paint on them that you charge with a light, these are sensitive but the charge won't last as long the older they get. My favorite for now is the Nite Brite by Thill. This is one bright float, it can be used as a slip float or clipped to the line. The only down side is that they are a little heavy and ride low in the water, but the crappie don't seem to mind. Crappiejoe, you can get the Nite Brite's along with the new batteries at Bass Pro. By the way the battery and light are one unit that slips into the float by unscrewing the top. Hope this helps.
