    Default Jordan 4/21/10

Jim and I long line trolled Bush Creek today from 8:30 AM until 2:30. Most fish were caught around the mouth of the creek in 10-13 ft deep water. Once again the Hot Grub "White Lightening" color with chartreuse heads seemed to be the best.

I miscounted on my crappie counter. When we got home we had only 38. One more pass at the mouth of the creek could have finished our limit.

You always get them. I'm down with motor trouble and just started fishing for crappie. Hope to be back at it before too long.

Good job Monk and I am glad to know that I am not the only one that can't get the count right even with a counter...We almost never get it quite right, but thankfully we normally have less than the counter says, so we are still legal...just can't count??? Nice catch and good pix.

    Default Good Trip, Monk

Hey Monk, Thanks for putting me into some good fishing on Jordon. We really enjoyed our time in NC with Lucy and you. Those fish look good in the freezer, and we bought a Fry Daddy, so we'll start cooking some of them real soon.

Hope to go to Douglas on Friday in TN. The weather has been miserable since we returned... lots and lots of WIND! Hope it calms by Friday.

    Thanks again,
Give me some slabs any old day. They make great fishing and eating. ~TG
