    Default Norman 1-9

hit norman spur of the moment yesterday just for a few hrs from 1130-2ish. brought the leadcore stuff, and 1 crappie rod with my leftover minnows "just in case".

trolled the leadcore stuff for no more than 30 minutes, and knew it just wasnt gonna happen in the 44 degree murkey water

went to plan B, C, and D.....fished 1 dock where ive always caught a few fish off of in the past, but not much. low and behold i scratched off a decent Norman catch and called it a day.

final tally was 7 crappie, 1 2lb spot, and a 17 inch striper.
had 1 decent norman slab that was maby 1 1/4 lbs, and everything else were good 10-12 inch keepers. cant complain on a windy, cold and bluebird day.

water temp above 150 is 40-42, and 44-48 at mouth of hothole
Full day 1/2 day or evening Striper/Crappie fishing trips available at a very affordable price for

im just not dedicated enough YET this year to go after them! when it warms a bit, im thinking about hitting some of them lights at night shortly and see if i can find a few that way.

I think this cold weater may have them all lockjawed. I expect the shad are going to have a tough time as well, then we won't be able to catch them for all the dead bait in the water
