    yep, it's gonna be early this year. Checked my local fishin hole yesterday and temp is 52 already

    We have a cool week ahead. Might slow things down. There are reports of herring in the Hudson already!

    Fished falls this am. Seems like the males have made there way towards the shallows (3 to 5 feet). The females i havent really been able to find

    fished the weekend only managed 6. the cold front sent them deep again. Gonna be back at it saturday

    My dogwood tree has buds... I figure another week until it blooms - and for some reason, dogwood blooming and crappie spawning almost always seem to happen at the same time (that's why I planted a dogwood start hittin em hard next week!!!
