Absolutely.... And that is the opinion of the majority of the LEO's I have came across, I came up to a license check and as soon as I drove up I did as I should and told him I had a CCW, he asked are you carrying? I said yes, his reply was "Good" have a nice night. The law abiding citizen is not the one a man has to worry about getting shot by, the man to worry about is the criminal that is about to rob you or shoot you for the few dollars you have in your wallet. I don't want to see more gun laws but I do want to see that anyone who uses a gun in the commission of a felony do mandatory federal time without time off for good behavior. If a man is willing to go to jail for the rest of his life to kill you, there is not much you can do to prevent it, and that same guy with the temper could just as easily mow you over with his pickup truck and kill as easily as pulling a trigger. My gun is to protect me & my family, I would do anything possible to avoid shooting someone including leaving the scene.
