    I just got to thinkin'

If you have someone fishing too close.
Everytime you catch a keeper, light off that horn and see how long it takes for them to move.

Also, with an old rivet boat like that. Keep some tubes of JB Weld on hand at all times.
A little advise from your Uncle Kit.

Nahhhhhhhh. Just install a bilge pump. The leaks are part of the nostalgia. I'm looking forward to my first ride in it. Should I bring my own pail?:D

I stopped at Maple Leaf lake on the way home from Lees Summit getting the inspection and floated it at the ramp to see if it leaks and run the motor a little. Going to register the trailer tomorrow and if I have time its going in the lake for a spin
I really want to take it to Smithville this weekend if I have any money left to get there, I may have to miss the Mini-camp

Yea, they are cheap at Wal-Mart, but absolutely your going to ride in it my friend !! and you will want that bucket handy as a backup cause I'm not sure if that motor will keep the battery charged, I am not really familiar with these old motors, I don't think it will.
Anyone else is welcome in the "Front" seat of my boat until I get the cables all worked out and have the steering hooked up, then ya all are goin' in the back:D
Anyone brave enough to go along tomorrow, shoot me a PM for my ph# unless you already have it.

    Default Looks Familiar

That boat looks familiar. My brother had one like it when I was younger. We caught many crappie, bream out of her. Even did some water skiing behind her.

Don't feel sorry for you, am happy for you!
