Good luck and have a safe trip and take lots of pictures. I head north sunday to do some visiting with the kids and then a week of fishing in Wisconsin with my brother. He has a place in Fremont Wi. about 45 miles west of Oshkosh. We fish for walleye and small mouth with some whitebass and northern's thrown in for excitement. Walleye dont run to big but a lot of 18-22'' eaters. Will post a report when I get back.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'
Good luck, Barn....
Oshkosh....man that's my old stompin' ground. Well...that whole Highway 41 corridor between Fond du Lac up to Green Bay
OK, time for some more pictures.

Joedog you ever fish De Pere in the spring for the walleye or Sturgeon Bay area for the Small mouth. Both are some of my favorite areas to fish for big fish. This year I didn't go for opening day and some friends of mine got into some big northerns 18-20# in the shipping canel of Sturgeon bay and Walleye over 10# I wont miss it next year. Hers some pictures from last year with my brother.

Went to Sabaskong Bay area on Lake of the Woods three years in a row a several years ago. They were all great trips. Each trip had different weather, which meant we got to catch fish in all kinds of depths and conditions. Lots of pike and smallmouth, which is what I really love to catch. here are a couple... First is me with a nice smallie, second is my dad with another gorgeous smallie, and third is my 38" pike caught on a tiny crankbait and spinning gear.

All those fish hanging were caught lindy rigging using 4-5'' suckers or golden roaches.
Well I getting ready to head to bed here at the house Friday night. So anyway thought I would post a picture of a Sunset from Canada. Of course this sunset happens about 11 p.m. up there.
