crappie's r us - I would definetely recomend Slim's Cabins in NE Sask, but it is a LONG way up there but they of course have fly in. We took an RV and the last 60 miles is on gravel. That was the slowest, bumpiest 60 miles of my life in that big RV. That's where we went last year.
Slims Cabins - Saskatchewan Fishing Guide & Fishing Outfitter providing trophy fishing for Northern Pike and Walleye in the northern wilderness areas of Saskatchewan, Canada.
This year, after some recomendations here and looking at their website we've decided on Huber's. Pretty easy drive and sounds like it has good fishing. There is supposedly some good smallmouth fishing there and I've never really fished for smallies up there. Usually just walleye and then muskie and pike in the evenings.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'
There is a link on post number 7 of this thread to the place I go every year.
Here is the link again. Ontario fly in fishing, Canada fishing resorts,Fletcher Lake Lodge,Canada

...Heading to MN this weekend! Probably won't have the same quality fish as what you guys are posting, but maybe I'll have some that come close! Can't hardly wait for this week to end and the fishing to begin!!
Nice pics, guys!
Yep, Sam ain't pulling your leg either. We were fishing around this island one evening and I had something just hammer my bait. I was fighting it and never got to see what I had on before it broke me off. I was fishing 14# test mono and just figured it must have been a BIG Pike and it's teeth cut my line. I was not using a leader.
Well we go back the next evening and fishing around this island again. Well something just hammers me again and this time I get him/her to the boat and pull it in. It's a nice smally and went about 4 1/2#'s. Well this darn thing has my lure from the first evening in it's mouth along with the lure I caught it on. IT WAS FLAT OUT AWESOME. Here is a picture of it and I'm holding the bait I got back. :D:D:D:D

Good luck, have fun, but most of all..........BE SAFE

Let me know if you want some tips on getting those BIG 'eyes. I have this pic as proof of my abilities of pulling in huge walleyes. This has to be some sort of record!
