The forum is about crappie fishing. There is nothing wrong with asking for advise. The problem is the way you approached it. All you need to ask is for fishing info on Truman or where ever. Leave the insults out of it.

I am very new to this website, but can say for sure that this site is about more than just catching crappie.

It is about helping people, mainly focused on our passion of catching fish.

I do not personally know anyone on this site but they invited me (a complete stranger) to their campsite and when I got there, everyone offered me food and drinks. I am happy to chat with those folks online anytime! Anyone that I met is welcome in my boat anytime.

Demanding a report in such a manner will not get you far on this site or in life. And to top it off, everyone joined in fellowship at camp to help someone battling a sickness.

As far as I am concerned "hangdup", the fish aren't biting at Truman, you should go somewhere else to fish!

THIS FORM IS ABOUT CATCHING CRAPPIE AND THE PEOPLE WHO DO IT. PEOPLE WHO I HAVE TALKED WITH ON THIS FORM AND THE ONES WHO I WAS ABLE TO MEET AT CAMP ARE SOME OF THE MOST CARING AND NICEST PEOPLE TO BE AROUND THAT I HAVE EVER HAD THE PRESURE OF MEETING. I PERSONALLY HAVE NEVER MET THE GUY WHO THEY HAD THE FUND RAISER FOR. TIMES ARE RUFF RIGHT NOW AND MONEY IS TIGHT FOR MOST OF US. THIS MISSOURI GROUP PUT TOGETHER A FUND RAISER FOR A FELLOW CRAPPIE FISHERMAN AND HAD A GREAT TIME DOING IT. I HAVE PEOPLE ON THIS BOARD GIVE ME THE DIRECTIONS TO THEIR HONEY HOLE JUST TO MAKE SURE I GOT A MESS OF FISH! I POSTED MY REPORT AFTER I GOT BACK HOME SATURDAY NIGHT AND AGAIN THIS MORNING FOR SUNDAYS TRIP NOT TO BRAG ABOUT CATCHING FISH BUT TO FIRST SAY THANK YOU TO THE FELLOW MEMBERS, AND THEN GIVE INFORMATION TO PEOPLE WHO DON'T GET TO FISH FOR CRAPPIE AS MUCH AS I DO. I DO OWN 3 BASS RODS, SORRY OSS, BUT I ALSO OWN 15 CRAPPIE RODS MAINLY FISH FOR CRAPPIE ALL YEAR LONG. WHEN THE SNOW AND ICE IS ON THE LAKES AND I CANT GET IN A BOAT I AM AT A HEATED DOCK. I HAVE NOW BEEN FISHING FOR THEM FOR OVER 25 PLUS YEARS AND THIS FORM AND THESE PEOPLE HAVE ALREADY IMPROVED MY FISHING. NEXT TIME DO A LITTLE RESEARCH BEFORE YOU OPEN UP.

Here we go again. Better just pull this thread on up to the off topic section now. hangdup there is a ton of great info. to be had on here if you go about it the right way. There are some of the best crappie fisherman around who frequent this board. Most of them are willing to help a guy out with some helpful tips and or point you in the right direction of the lake to fish. I would suggest mellowing out for a bit and soak up some of the information on here.
