So I know you have not heard from me in a while and I apologize to all my friends here at CDC. I was diagnosed with Covid on the 14th and have been pretty much out of it for a while (even spent the week on oxygen at home. Yes I was vaccinated but maybe a little careless about masking. I’m pretty sure I would have in the hospital w/o the vaccine. We are finding out that the efficacy is starting to fall off with the Pfizer and I think that is it had a jump start on the others. This Covid is no fun. I have lost 34 pounds in less than 2 weeks. Im see the booster is close to release for a large group of patients and I encourage those eligible patients to get it when they can.
It’s not my intention to step on any toes, but I love you guys and it comes from the heart.
I hope to be back to work next week still taking care of patients vaccinated or not.
If anyone wants to talk about Covid or the vaccine, pm me. I will explain the science to the best of my ability. I don’t feel it’s my job to change minds but I have spent 45 years of my life taking care of patients so please excuse my passion.
