Well as I said I did not know Cabelas sold Ranger; however to see them advertised with Nitro is just odd. And Ranger now has upfront pricing like Nitro and Tracker which I actually like. My first boat was a Tracker TV-18 which I bought off the showroom floor at the Hearnes Center boat show. I asked the salesmen if he could do any better on the price and he explained the no haggle pricing. Turned out I got a good deal compared to other companies at the time and man oh man was that a good boat for me. I almost cried after I sold it and watched it driven off by someone else. Now my new boat is a Crestliner VT 18 which has pricing on their website but Whites Marine said they carry such high volume that they don't honor rebates bc the deal is usually better than advertised, and it was. Looks like Ranger is going to be sold more like Nitros and Trackers as far as pricing. I see the goal as more production plants and more dealers will ultimately drive costs down compared to the competition. Some think the quality of Ranger will suffer but I personally don't think it will nor do I think that's the goal. Also odd that Legend Boats is not sponsoring any Pros and the ones who were sponsored by them have switched to Nitro, Ranger, or Triton. Johnny Morris is just taking advantage of capitalism and creates a BUNCH of jobs so more power to him. What's up with this new bass boat company called VEXUS?...suppose to debut at the Bassmaster Classic?
