Thread: Kinda back to normal

Wife is back from Houston, visited her oldest sister. They live just north, no damage except the pool overflowed from so much rain. I got in a couple days fishing while she was gone.
The kid (he's 43) lives in Ft. Lauderdale, walking distance of downtown. He sand bagged his 1st. floor apartment doors and stayed with friends who have a generator. No water inside. Said it blew down two trees and took out a wall of his courtyard. Still no power though. I keep telling him Florida is just a place to visit, you don't live there. But he does. Could have been a lot worse.

Very fortunate, good for them.
