Did anyone use the bucksaw motel last year? The reviews at that time scared me off. If I show up without a dd I do not need to venture too far.

See ya there.
I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)
The fishing is always great. The catching varies.

From what I hear Joe said the shower house was not to bad to sleep in.....![]()
I have stayed there a few times and it was OK. Most of the people there are members and I was given rides by Joyce and Dave. Had a couple others volunteer also. If you are used to high end accommodations you will be disappointed. I stay there because it is close to the ramp and park. The staff is friendly but there is no on duty at night, no wifi except at the marina.
Richard the wife and i stay at the motel , you will have a ride when needed
I do not mind old or used. But clean is what I am looking at.
I have stayed at the motel many times. Nothing fancy but it is clean.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.ripnlips LIKED above post
I've stayed a week in a floating room, several over night stays above the restaurant, a week in a cabin and a week in the motel/lodge. All are about the same quality, it is geared to sportmen/women and it shows. It is not up scale, but other than a slight dog smell one time I've never been put off, but I've also been Navy trained to sleep anywhere any time so my level of acceptance might be off. I'd not hesitate to stay in any of their rooms.
The best way to get to where you want to be in the future is to act like you are there TODAY.
