The first trolling motor I had on this boat I fried it. Had all kind of trolling motor problems. Replaced batteries, connectors and plugs. Till I bought this trolling motor I have now. I rewired the boat using new 6 gauge wire and took out the plugs and wired direct using a copper sleeve, heat stink and good electric tape. I am now running a 12/24 trolling motor, I love the power I gave on 24V side.
