I put it on trolling motor only to find out doesn't work, needs 2-5 mph to work best and from what I've been seeing 5 mph would be better. Still experimenting.

I mounted a Si transducer on this on the bow of my boat away from the trolling motor to get rid of electrical interference. Amazon.com : Transducer Mount Assembly for Bow of Boats and Pontoons (Black) : Boating Equipment : Sports & Outdoors
It works real good and I use it going .5 miles an hour most of the time.
