Anyone bow hunting yet?

Anybody else getting an early jump on getting some fresh back straps in the freezer? we have been really working at our foods plots and habitat improvements this year on our land and the trail cams at showing a lot more deer Than other years. Some nice bucks coming around too....
I have been on stand twice this season so far and no deer seen yet but with 4 months left to hunt I'm in no real hurry. Who knows, Maybe this evening will bring me a change of luck..

Worked on stands and hunting areas today. Don't really hunt until mid October. Good luck all and be safe.

Got mine and my grandsons bows out and we have shot targets quite a bit. He has been going seeing deer but has not connected yet. I will wait till things cool off and the bugs slow down.

Good luck guys! We start Oct 1st and usually even first of Oct came be a little warm for me. We have had some cool mornings. Need Skeeter's gone for me to set.

Well I haven't made it back out since Saturday morning. Too many house chores to be done. These cooler evenings sure feel more like hunting weather. Might get to go on Thursday depending on what my better half has in mind. Time will tell.

Somebody put some blocks out in a very good spot might have to watch them make sure no one steals them.

Spent the day setting up some new deer stands that my brother built for bad weather. Insulated, hinged windows, deluxe!
