    Went twice at Truman seen deer both times, got a nice doe. Need fish now before trying for another.

    Guess my like button is broke, thanks for the compliments on the stand... It will sure help on those cold rainy days. Too bad my dad and brother have first call to them.
    Way to go on the slick head, minnowdipper. Nice to have fresh back straps.
    Yesterday, I whiffed on a yearling doe on public land. Good thing because we were WaaY back in the woods. Would have been a 2 mile drag! Sure are a lot of acorns around already.

    Got this off one of my trail cams last Saturday about 20 yards from my favorite stand. Answers a lot of questions as to why we haven't had a lot of deer on cameras this year. Conservation agent told us its possible its a male just passing through. I said it better pass on through or if I see it its dead. He didn't care for that answer.
    There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
