Warning!
He is back! Yep as some of you have known I have been having serious health issues with diabetes. Yes it was depressing to sit here and see all the great fishing reports and all the pictures of the great fish! I guess that is why I decided to back away from CDC due to that fact. Kind of sucked that I had a great boat but a lot of times I wasn't even able to drive myself to the doctor. Granted I am very lucky! I have 2 of the best doctors in southwest Missouri! I have lost about 50% of the nerves in my feet, and I have nerve damage in my right arm and hand that causes me to shake and drop things. I have to take about a half a shot glass twice per day of pills to keep up with the pain. BUT I AM NOT ASKING FOR ANYONE TO FEEL SORRY FOR ME! I AM VERY, VERY, VERY LUCKY! There is a lot more folks with diabetes that have kidney and eye sight problems. I am fine there, I am just dizzy most of the time like a cheap drunk due to the meds.
We have not had the boat out for almost 4 years, we pulled it out this past Sunday. Replaced the plugs, fuel filter, water pump and lower end grease! Plus stuck a grease gun on the hubs. Thanks for all the help from my buddy Marcus! And OLD Beagleman for giving me advise on what to do and how to do it!
Still messing a little bit with fireworks but not near what I used to do.
Well headed out to finally setup the minnow tank that I purchased years ago from OSS! I guess in a couple of weeks we will find out if I can handle getting in and out of the boat. Like I told the wife if I am going to kick the bucket I would rather have my boots on and be sitting over a cedar tree fishin for crappie!
In closing I would like to thank my CDC friends on here who have continued to be in contact with me and the wife.
