    Default Side Pulling

Been studying this style (side pulling for crappie). I noticed how the boat is rigged with the trolling motor in the center of the boat. They apparently do this a lot in the south. They even have a war eagle boat set up for this.

The bracket for the trolling motor is what I'm kinda interested in. You can raise the trolling motor and turn it 360 degrees to place it in the boat. The bracket is called. "The Edge" Side Pulling Multi-function Trolling Motor Bracket.
I tried to google it, it does show two on ebay. One is $200.00 and the other is $220.00. The other site is in China and doesn't give a price.

Anybody know anything about this bracket, where to get it (besides ebay). Or know of anything like it?

Paul if you get one of those you'll be on all kinds of non-targeted fish.

Grizzly Jig sells them. Think same price. Not cheap but really well built. Might check with Olebigun or ShiloRed think both of them run that bracket. They side pull on Pickwick.

I can't see the upside to this style of fishing.

The only thing i can think of is you can have more people side pulling vs only 2 in the front when going forward. Also i guess you would cover more water

Cover more water for sure unless you're using planer boards and longlining.
