Excited for the Spring
It is going to be a bitter sweat spring spring this year. i am the youngest of Blue Skeeter. I have two little guys ages 6 and 7 that loved to go to the lake with Big Papa and catch some crappie. I have the honor of putting Dad's LOWE on the water from here on out. Believe me when I saw I am going to to do that as often a I can. My brother and I are making plans to come down to camp this year with Harold so we are looking forward to meeting everyone.. Thanks for the thoughts and kind words about DAD during this time......

Welcome to the site! We will certainly miss your Dad at camp, but I'm thinking he will be there in spirit, for sure. And I'm glad you are bringing Harold down with you. That guy will most certainly put you all on some crappie. Now, if the Marina decides to open back up for the all you can eat shrimp.....and Harold goes.....you might want to find a comfortable seat!!!!

I think they stop the all you can eat shrimp as soon as they hear we are having camp in case Harold shows up and then start it again the next week.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
