    Default Weekend at Tanycomo

Spent fri thru mon. on tanycomo fishing trout. Caught alot but not much for size. Saturday must have been 150 boats from fall creek to 65 bridge it was a nuthouse must have been a nice day for a change to get all those people out. Minnowdipper and son dipstick met us floated around catching one or two every now and again. Great to see them and give his son Caleb a hard time. Pretty good weather the whole time and good friends hard to beat. Sorry no pics should have been taking a few it was fun. Kept waitting for Paul to reel in a non targetted specie of fish but he failled must be losing his touch. And I know I misspelled something there oh well. Good to get back on here and see the lakes are ready for us to get after a tastier version of fish called crappie!!!

Headed down in two weeks over spring break. Son and I are making our annual trout trip. Let's hope for good weather and lots of fish. Could use less boats though.
    Be safe on the water!

It was fun and we had grilled trout on Sunday for dinner. They weren't bad but I can't wait to get some crappie for dinner.

Ate breakfast in Columbia, MO one morning. They had smoked trout and fried green tomatoes as dish, I tried it. Smoked trout is the way to go. Any other way, I don't like it.

I can tell you this, ripnlilps is a good cook and housekeeper. We had a really good time bringing those fish to the light. The bottom of ripnlips boat is white. He should never have given me that phrase. Bring them fish to the light. We had a really good time, and for some reason I just couldn't catch one of those non targeted species, pure trout and lots of them. We were doing so good a lot of them got a second chance. There was no catch and release into the grease, it was a limit and get warm.
