    So guy I walk with everyday after work tells me, he was waitting for his wife to get out of the doc s office and two ladies doing a crossword puzzle asks him if he was military? He says yes I was in the army for a couple years. Gals ask him whats a 5 letter navy term for retreating? Dont know was army. So he asks me, tell him same thing dont know was army. Asked around the bus barn even the navy guys dont know so I said I can ask the experts they know everything that needs knowing. So any clever answers? All I came up with was 1 letter short SWIM.

    I believe it is retire. Which also means withdraw in the military. Might be wrong but I think so.
    There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

    That came to mind also but is 6 letters. I also thought of delay such as tactical delay or abort. No luck.

    LOL I guess I should learn to read I totally missed the five letter part. Sorry :
