Need info
Has anyone ever installed a new lower unit on a MinnKota? I bought a new lower unit for my 101 and thought I would ask before I started. Looks to just screw on the shaft with some loctite sealer?
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

I would bet it would be some type or RTV silicone I read on here long time ago, several of the guys were cutting the shafts and running wires for depth transducers. maybe you can find the thread, I think Cane Pole had some info.
