    There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

    Had 3 grandaughters shooting a bow on Sat. Looking forward to taking them in a few years. Congrats and enjoy.

    I'm sure there is a joke in there somewhere about how with your daughters hunting skills we wont have to worry about your family going hungry relying on your crappie fishing skills to put food on the table

    I guess I should clear up the fact she just went and I actually shot the deer, guess that wasn't clear. I was just proud because she cried her eyes out 4 or so years ago when she had a shot during youth season but couldn’t take it. I thought she was scared for life! Fast forward a few years and she’s driving, going to homecoming, still fishes with me but Saturday she said shoot it, shoot it, shoot it!!! She participated in the entire event and will eat venison also!

    As far as my family going hungry……It’s A Whole Lot Cheaper to go to the Store!!!

    Not near as fun!
