    Default GPS Help

I've taken on a new Job as a property inspector but I've been out of the electronic new gadgets world for about 6 years. Been to Walmart, Verizon and look around on the web but wanted ask the board what is the best to have to locate rural address. Some of these are way back in the sticks where you need a pack mule. LOL
I also need to have a smart phone for my job too. witch is better Verizon or at&t ???

Seems like Verizon has the best coverage advertised for smart phones, but those Ozarks can sure block the best signals

I have Verizon and am really happy with them. I also have android and would not trade it , but with that being said there is nothing wrong with Apple stuff if you already have a bunch of it. I've had the Motorola phones and radio's for play and work there hard to beat.

DO NOT DEPEND ON PHONE BASED GPS service. It is lacking at best. I travel rural MO a lot visiting clients. You can not beat a Garmin Nuvi with lifetime updates. I have seen family and friends get lost trying to use the phone based crap. We still have the Galaxy S2 and love them, haven't had a need to upgrade yet. We use ATT, but just because we're already there. Verizon will be a good service as well. Keep in mind, you will not be helped with a GPS in counties that still do not have 911 service like Bates County.
The best way to get to where you want to be in the future is to act like you are there TODAY.
