Not ever used it. I mix my own out of trace mineral-salt and dry molasses. They will dig a hole the size of a tractor tire to get to it.

now i don't know if you deer hunters can use these are not in Mo . But when i was a bow hunter i used to use Himalayan salt licks instead of the old white blocks cause the dear would just hit the Himalayan salt till it was gone and leave the other alone.. Maybe its cause the HSL has 84 minerals in it and the white blocks has 14 i think.. Anyway the only reason i even mention this is i was in a shop here in Camdenton that sells Himalayan Salt. He's got it in table salt, Lamps, candles, and livestock types.. The name of the store is WE Are BAZAARS. Not sure how much it is but i guess i could go see if some one interested.

There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
We sell a ton of the Bio-Rock that Biologic makes. That salt sounds like a pretty good one. Craziest I ever seen was Clorox poured in a circle. The deer dug a whole 6"-8" deep in about a 8' circle where it was poured. I guess it turns into sodium after water hits it. Downfall for some of these methods would be during a super dry year like last year and them eating the dirt. I usually bait my deer sausage with cold beer or Crown. Bwillaub, Hogster and Blue Skeeter always seem to have some great snack sticks or venison sausage at camps or out on the water. Works well![]()
according to the book it is ok to use salt blocks, gonna be time soon to get ready. be safe
We only use Himalaya (sp) salt at home. Got a shaker full of it in the desk drawer next to me right now. The wife is a food Nazi, won't let me have the white stuff.
The best way to get to where you want to be in the future is to act like you are there TODAY.
I use Trophy Rocks .
