We sell a ton of the Bio-Rock that Biologic makes. That salt sounds like a pretty good one. Craziest I ever seen was Clorox poured in a circle. The deer dug a whole 6"-8" deep in about a 8' circle where it was poured. I guess it turns into sodium after water hits it. Downfall for some of these methods would be during a super dry year like last year and them eating the dirt. I usually bait my deer sausage with cold beer or Crown. Bwillaub, Hogster and Blue Skeeter always seem to have some great snack sticks or venison sausage at camps or out on the water. Works well
