just got in from checking out a couple stands and cleaning some brush off my trails. hard to really get in the mood up in 95 degree afternoon temps, though. looks like watering holes will be the ticket for a couple more weeks....

Looking forward to it just a little early for me to get excited. I do not care for the ticks and mosquitoes. And all the seed ticks that make your skin crawl when you harvest a warm weather deer while skinning it. But yes I will be out there eventually.

A great day is: hunting in the morning, crappie fish in the afternoon, then back on stand in the evening... minus the 90+ degree heat!

Looking forwards to it. But I don't get really fired up over it till late October. Hard to control your scent when its this dang hot and don't want big boy to know I am around until its to late.
