Them shots they are not good for you, make your bones brittle, and 3 out of 341 it works for most not. learn to sit awhile and stand awhile and try a knee wrap I use one of them slip over kind, help a little, hot tub after a long day help best. luck to ya.

I took a sitdown seat and put it on a bicycle seat power pedistal and cut about four inches out of the pedistal pole. When lowered I can sit with my legs extended and my foot on the trolling motor control. I'm 6'-2" and a regular seat pedistal is too short and gets your legs too cramped up. When running I just raise the seat and it is high enough that you see under it with no trouble. This makes a long day on the water a lot more comfortable for me.

    Good luck

Had a cortisone shot in the shoulder. Good for about two months and then surgery cured the problem.

Like others have said, cortisone helps temporarily. I broke my knee playing football when I was young and stupid and didn't care about my body. Had the shots. They helped temporarily. Like Beagle said, cortisone is a form of steroid that can actually damage bone over time.

Just got both knees shot up 2 weeks ago. True, if you do cortizone too much it will actually help detoriate the joints faster. Ive been doning them in both knees for about 7 years. Surgeon says about every 6 months will not harm you. No cartiledge left in right knee and not much left in the the other one. But better than replacing them for now. I generall make it about 8 months.

Tall pedestal with butt seat and recessing my pedal made a world of difference for me.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
