    Need help cell phone T-Mobile

My old cell phone U.S. Cellular got bought so I need to get new phones for wife & I. The price package I can get thru Costco boils down to two systems same price T Mobile with a better package unlimited & Verizon with limited minutes but supposed to be very good coverage. My question to is anybody using T-Mobile and what area and how is coverage good reception in your area? How about those in Missouri along I57 and I-55 where I travel? I go to Texas from Illinois few times a year so I wonder about reception along I-55 MO., I-40 from West Memphis to Little Rock and I-30 Little Rock to Texarkana. Thanks any help will be most appreciated.

I have had T-Mobile for several years and have had good coverage on all the major highways. I have not been down I 55 but have been to Texas, Florida, Nebraska, Illinois, Colorado, and all the states in between and have had very few problems. If I go on the water at Truman Lake or Pomme De Terre her in MO it is spotty. I travel mainly by car from the Kansas City area. I have never had Verizon so don't know about that one.

jax, I've been a T-Mobile customer for pro'ly 13 years or so. So long as you travel along interstates and major state or US Highways, you're going to have some kind of coverage, with a few exceptions. But get a mile or three off the beaten path at some of these places, and forget it. At that point, your mileage may vary. Sometimes there's good coverage, sometimes not. When I'm out at the lake (Smithville or Truman) it's pretty hit or miss. Can't speak for your neck of the woods.

Also, if you're talking while driving, and you switch between cell towers, your call may drop (if it is between one carrier's tower and another, or if it is going from a 4G tower to Edge or something). Very frustrating.

But they have a decent price plan and good support, and they have WiFi calling which is nice when you're in a place where maybe the coverage isn't so great.
