Didn't even try this weekend with the way the water is. did go to local conservation lake just to get away and wet a line. Took about 4 hours but we both caught 4 bass apiece. Nothing big enough to keep. At least it was a tug on the line. It is getting so full of weeds that it is getting hard to fish and get around in.
too bad you didn't get on some better fishing, I heard that lake wasn't worth the drive again this year.... hopefully this river stabilizes soon, been tough to fish the last few weeks.
