It sucks not having someone that wants to fish! The guys I fish with are older than me and they don't want to fish the weekends, or they haven't heard the fish are biting or the sun is too hot or it's too cold! I just can't afford many trips to the lake by myself, I would use up my money stash WAY too quick if I did that too often! I envy you guys who have buddies that want to fish! It will get better in a couple years when I retire.....I hope!

My ace partner is 7 hrs away back where we grew up.
Never had a fight in 10 yrs of fishin'. We both knew when we messed up and the other never had to say a word.
Sometimes I think when you're not lookin, you'll eventually stumble across what you're lookin' for.
Just be invitational to others and you just might find what you're lookin' for.

I'm pretty laid back anymore and don't get too serious about much. Rather have a good time. Fishing is supposed to be fun ain't it? That's why we all do it and look forward to it. I've fished plenty of salmon tourneys and others for big bucks but always had a good time doing it. 'Course, where we fished you could be checked anytime by the Sheriffs Department, State DNR or the Coast Guard so we didn't mess around too much.

I love love love to fish, I don't have a boat, but get to go with a friend sometimes his time getting out is limited, I have my own tackle and get lots of days off, I don't mind sharing expenses that's only fair.
