The Other Day
I wanted to go fishing. Mrs. Speck said I had too many honey-do's. I needed to mess with my GPS so I pulled the boat out into the field and crawled up in it.
A little while later, Beagle called. The conversation went something like this:
Beagle: Wacha doin Speck?
Me: I'm fishin.
Beagle: Where ya fishin?
Me: Out in my field.
Beagle: Dang it Speck, it's people like you who give us southern MO people a bad reputation. Nobody pulls their boat into a field and goes fishin. If I were there, I'd swim out and kick yo butt!!!
