    Default PSI gauge

PSI gauge quit working sometime last year on my boat. Stuck @ 25. I don't know anything on how these gauges work. I did just undo the line into it and turn the power on and it did not reset. Any ideas

Give us a little more info about the guage. Is it electric with wire or true pressure type with a rubber hose going to it.

Make , model, Hp of the motor.

If it has a hose ===replace the guage.

If elec.=== Could be a bad sending unit in motor, a broken or shorted wire, or bad guage.

    Just some possible causes.

If it has the hose you need to replace the guage for sure. If you use the motor before replacing the guage put the hose back on the old guage before you run it on the water or you will get water out in the boat. ALSO be certain that you are getting water out of the tell=tale hose on the motor.

    Good luck and safe boating.

If it happened at the onset of cold weather it could have frozen, once they do and if it doesn't reset when it thaws then it's almost always a replacement and not a repair.

No it did it last summer. I don't know when and bad on me for not watching. The boat was only ran a few times after noticing it. The engine ran fine. I haven't taken it out yet this year. Was getting everything ready and wanted to know what to do about the gauge before taking it out.
