Must fertilize, go to your neighbor Morgan County Seeds ON Kelsay road I believe, and get the Tomato special, .04 oz of it, and .04 oz per plant of calcium nitrate alternate every week. Will grow you some gudduns!

They look like real producers...... I'll try some this summer. How are they for taste?
I have not yet begun to procrastinate .....

Taste on the Jet Star is in my opinion the best. I grow several varieties with less than stellar taste. But they look good and sell good because they look good!

I grown them several times in the past,, I also like Cherokeepurple, celebrity’s, black Kim, German Johnson and black prince. Jet star always seem to make enough to make my wife happy canning.. Cherokee i've only grow a couble of times out but out of 4 plants i got 12 tomatoes. Big but not many. But dang there good. ( think it had somthing to do with fertilzer)LOL Fix that this year. Celebrity is very good one too..I was a bucket farmer when i lives on the rock.. had 43- 5 gallon bucket of tomotes.. some work other failed... Grandson said u need to put them in the ground. He change his mind when i gave him a shovel in stone county.. LOL
