Thread: truman spring

We have a camp out each spring and fall. Guys and gals from several states attend. We all gather in the evenings and shoot the breeze and have some refreshments around a campfire. On Friday and Saturday evening we have a group meal. Usually BBQ one night and fish fry on Saturday evening. Pot luck style for the most part. I usually get a list together of items needed for meals and members volunteer to bring the items. Several of us camp all week buthe bulk of the group shows up on Thursday and Friday. Lots of great people to fish with and learn from throughout the week. We have had as many as 130-140 people for a few of these in the spring. Great COE campground at Bucksaw but they also have cabins and lodge with hotel style rooms if your not a camper.

ITS A LOT OF FUN!!!! and some of the best crappie fishermen and women in the state well be there , anything you want to know about Fishing can be learned there and did I mention it was a lot of fun!!

Its a gathering of the best people out there sharing crappie fishing and enjoying the outdoors. If ya make one you will spend the rest of your time looking forwards to the next one. Book ya a camp site or a room now because you dont want to miss it. Some of the best food and BSing around the camp fire you will ever get with one hell of a bunch of good folks.
