I am wanting to get a spider rig set-up for my boat. I have narrowed it down to 2, Hi-Tek and the Cumberland rigs. I have asked Jarrod about the Hi-Tek equipment and his has worked well for him but am asking if anyone has the Cumberland style. In particularly the 360 set-ups. I like aspects of both. A couple of questions about the set-ups. Is there a need to change the elevation of the main post, as in the Cumberland and does it hold? I have found that with age handled screws tend to slip since you can't get them as tight as wrenched. And also, does the rod holder clamp without slipping after a year or two? I really like the way Hi-Tek supports the main post to the boat. Looking to get 2 set-up and extra bases for the back of the boat. Thanks for any help or comments. I've done a search and have not found much on the 2 set-ups compared. Thanks again and looking forward to seeing everyone in May.
