I'm from Iowa and would be staying in a cabin so I need to make reservations as early as possible,if there ain't any cabins I'll talk the wife into sleeping in a tent It's my birthday on the 5th I'll use that as leverage. Thanks keep us posted
Any ideas on a location for Twain gathering? I'll be down the 28th of March till April 1 my family and a buddies family go down there over Easter weekend every yr,hopefully the weather will be good and we can boat a few my sons bringing a friend that never had the chance to fish from a boat so thought Twain would be neat for him to be on. Keep me posted thanks and good fishing

Sounds like a neat opportunity. I'd for sure be interested. I really hope its a time Catman can make it as he has shown me a lot of what I know. Oh...and he's a magnet for those fish.

I am going to give the state park campground a call this week some time and see if we need to make a group reservation so we can all get in the same loop, I will also inquire about the cabins prices and what the cabins have as far as water, heat /ac, any bedding and all that good junk. I suspect that you would get a better deal at the southfork resort, which is only a stones throw away. since we had no arguements about the 1-2 of june, that is the weekend I will look into first. hope to see ya'all there, I am looking forward to it!

the Mark Twain state park is on hwy 107, which is about 8 miles west of perry, on the southwest side of the lake. I too will be there a day or two early.

Sounds as though you guys have the dates and everything knocked out so I'll just be quiet!
