Thread: Welcome "Ed3101"

Glad to have you. What lakes do you fish? We are getting a pretty diverse group on here. Always had a good following from LOZ and Truman but the Smithville and Twain groups are really growing fast. There will be several camps this year. Spring at Truman and Smithville. Summer at Twain. Then back to Truman and LOZ in the fall. They are great place to meet members and learn about the different lakes. Great bunch of people and even better food at the camps. May want to bring the tall boots for the evening campfire sessions.

Ya know to be honest, I cast tackle into many lakes. To say I "fish" a lot of lakes would be insulting to everyone on here that actually removes fish from the water. All joking aside, growing up my parents have always had a lot a small lake development outside of Perryville, MO which is about 90 miles south of St. Louis down 55. The majority of my fishing was always at that lake and typically for largmouth bass. Although I am terrible at it, I still bring a rod and reel as often as I can and always try anyway. I have fished Table Rock as well as LOZ, but due to the fact that I do not own a boat, most of my fishing currently is from the bank of small ponds/lakes.

I found this site while searching for information on crappie fishing. Although the majority of my history was around bass fishing, I think crappie taste better and I am always interested in broadening my skill set. I look forward to participating more activily on the forum and thank you for reaching out.

There is always an open seat with guys at the camps. So don't be afraid to jion uin oin the camps. Just let us know and we will find someone for you to climb in with. I usually take a few people out during the spring camps and took LSL along at fall camp to save him pulling his boat down to Truman from St. Louis. I use to chase them bass for several years chasing the tournament series around. Got very expensive and just not the same atmosphere as there is with the crappie anglers.
