    They are sure handy with a metal boat. You can launch in less water than a big rig needs.

    after I quit fishing, sitting in the parking lot, thinking about the lousy day, and said what the heck, got the drill motor, the parts , just as well do a little work, so I did, drank a pint, ate a samich and wala job well done

    Looks good, i may have to do that to my trailer. I guessing you bought the at bass pro?

    yes I got them at the bass pro, I drove the boat on not quite all the way to check them out, cranked the boat with no problem the couple feet I stopped short. think they will work. pretty slick. I had the old white ones and these are much better.

    I got a set just never put them on. It may be time to dig them out of the basement if they work that well.

    My buddy has them on his trailer. it's a heavy 20' boat and it wore out the alum. were it rubbed loading on the trailer.

    Frank C. never heard that before, or read any neg reports on the new black glide strips. will keep a eye out as best as I can.
